Lingora is a South Korea–based education company dedicated to providing high-quality audio and video English lessons to motivated learners — including professionals from major corporations such as Hanwha and Samsung.

We are expanding our global tutor team and seeking passionate and professional English tutors from Canada, the U.S., the U.K., New Zealand, Australia, and Ireland who are eager to make a meaningful impact — one lesson at a time.

About the Role

As a Lingora Tutor, you will play a key role in empowering adult learners to gain confidence and fluency in English for both professional and personal growth.
Our students value not only your instruction but also the connection, motivation, and cultural exchange you bring to each class.

Classes are appointment-based video sessions, and we are currently hiring tutors available to teach during weekday mornings/evenings (KST) and weekends.

What We’re Looking For

• Passionate about education and cross-cultural communication
• Reliable and organized, with a positive and engaging teaching style
• Able to build meaningful relationships with learners and tailor their approach to student needs

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging one-on-one video lessons
• Use creative teaching methods to promote conversation and language confidence
• Support and motivate students throughout their learning journey

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• TEFL Level 5 Certification (168 hours or equivalent)
• Preferred: 2+ years of teaching experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with online teaching tools and strategies

Job Details

• Employment Type: Part-Time (Flexible schedule, based on your availability)
• Location: Remote (work from anywhere in CA, US, UK, NZ, AU, or IR)

Earnings & Incentives

• Earn up to $34.5 USD per hour—or even more!
• Base rate: $12–17 per hour
• Plus performance incentives: up to $17/hr extra—or more
• Extra incentives available:
• Appointment lessons incentive: +$1.50/hr
• Video class incentive: +$2/hr
• Enrollee incentive: +$2 per enrollee
